A chalkboard wall in a play spaces is a great way to unleash your lil one's inner artist. But go a step further and make sure you have a spot for everything. This way at least you'll have half a chance of keeping it tidy. Kids storage doesn't have to mean an old chunky toy box. A bit of creativity and imagination will take you a long way.

This inspirational pic (originally featured in Family Fun magazine) illustrates how you can use inexpensive items in a unique way to create an awesome play space.

An alternative to chalk board paint is to use removable chalkboard wallpaper. You can get a 2.5M roll from zakkia.com.au for $24. They also have non toxic liquid chalk markers these days so say goodbye to chalk dust.

Over to you. Do you have any great kids playroom ideas?

Until next time...
